Tere (hello), this is the story of my journey to get and enjoy the e-residency from the free and independent nation of the Republic of Estonia (Eesti Vabariik).

1: Announcement of E-residency

Dear Reader,

I, unfortunately, can’t remember how I ran across the e-residency program that Estonia offers. I know that sounds bad, but if I had to force a memory, I guess it was here on Medium. But really it was just something I accidentally ran across, something I also happened to mention in my first article “Adventuring in a Sea of Ideas”. Where I talked about the fact that I kind of get lost on the internet and want to create a whole list of ideas. But this is one of the first ones I am going to achieve.

Ya it’s the RED one. Go ahead, get the magnifier.

I would rather write about what has happened in comparison to what may happen. I have always felt that true history cannot be completely erased and this is a way of documenting my own personal history. As I am sure that many who come across this have seen, this world has taken some radical shifts that will alter its future. And so I must alter mine. In such a dynamic era we would all benefit from having multiple resources.

To some people, doing such a thing will undoubtedly dredge up ideas of fickleness, disloyalty, or possibly treason. But that was not at all my intent. I simply wish to be and do more in this life and this is a handy device to help me. Who knows I may be able to help Estonia as well in the long run.

I plan on adding to this series as things go on. So feel free to come back when you can. Perhaps this can help you to.
