I once had a blog under a very different name on WordPress when I was in high school. But since I didn’t keep up with it eventually it went defunct. So I decided the time was right for me to strike out again on this platform especially since I thought it would be good practice. WordPress handles about 75,000,000 sites as of last year so this felt like required knowledge.

I wanted a 2nd place where I can keep thoughts and ideas easily. I’m reminded of a quote I heard,

“your work only truly exists if it’s saved in 2 locations”.

WordPress feels like the right place to do just that. I also am a big fan of this popular ecosystem and the fact that so much is open source. There will be a number of updates coming in the months ahead, so stay tuned via newsletter.
